ProductHunt API Documentation

Overview

The ProductHunt API offers two main functionalities:

  1. Retrieve trending product lists for specified dates
  2. Fetch detailed product information based on product names

This API is designed to help developers easily access popular product data from ProductHunt, facilitating product analysis, market research, or the creation of custom product recommendation services.

Note:

  • When the date parameter is provided, the API will return the trending product list for that date.
  • When the product_name parameter is provided, the API will return detailed information for that product.
  • The date and product_name parameters cannot be used simultaneously.

Response Format

The API returns responses in JSON format. The response structure varies slightly depending on the request type:
